Eligibility for Admission

B.A. English Language and Literature with Journalism (Model II)

A pass in plus two or equivalent Examination approved by the university. However, students with good scoring and taste for English language and an interest in journalism will alone be admitted.

B B A (Bachelor of Business Administration)

A pass in plus two or any other equivalent Examination approved by the Mahatma Gandhi University. Since Maths and Statistics are essential components in the syllabus, we accommodate students with sufficient Maths and Statistics background.

B C A (Bachelor of Computer Application)

A pass in plus two or any other equivalent Examinations in Science stream with Mathematics or Computer Science as a compulsory subject. B.Sc. Psychology Candidates must have passed plus two or other equivalent examination approved by the MG University.

B. Com (Model II -Vocational)

Computer Application Any candidate who passed the Plus Two of the Higher Secondary Board of Kerala or other Board Examinations in any State recognized by the MG university and treated as equivalent to the Plus Two of the Higher Secondary Board in Kerala, with good scoring in the aggregate, in eligible for admission. However. SC/ST, OBC and other eligible communities will be given relaxation as per university rules:

B. Com (Finance & Taxation)

Candidates must have passed plus two or equivalent examination with at least 50% Marks from a recognized State or Central Board.

BFT (Bachelor of Fashion Technology)

Model Ill A pass in the Plus Two or any other exam approved by the MG University. However, for the admission aptitude matters and is an important component. The admission is offered through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and through the Management quota as in the case of other UG programmes.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAMMES

All the Undergraduate programmes are conducted on a Choice Based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS) pattern. It will have six semesters spreading over three years. Each semester consists of a minimum of 90 working days, inclusive of examinations, distributed over 18 five-day academic weeks. The Odd semesters (1,11I, V) will be from June to October and the Even semesters (II, IV, V1) will be from December to March
